Summary
"Professor" Harold Hill occurs as con man who sells musical instruments, pretending that he will teach tiddler to play the two & form the town band. His project to carry out the cozenage at Flow of any stream City, a settlement within Iowa, is thwarted when he becomes attracted to Marian Paroo, a local librarian, who immediately recognizes him when a fraud he is.
